After doing some research i have read that the plug the door sill does not run all the way to the fuse panel on the 50th anniv. In the past i chose one color and connected to my brake light but this time was with the color changing remote. A lighted door sill not only brings illumination but eye popping style to the interior of your ford mustang v6 as well. When ford totally transformed the s197 mustangs most of the attention was focused on the exterior changes made but there were some cool interior changes made as well with the mycolor feature introduced in the 05 and later the ambient lighting package in 08.

I decided to buy for my 2012 mustang convertible. This is my 3rd purchase from windrestrictor. These illuminated door sill plates will display a whitish blue light through the mustang text when you re entering and exiting your vehicle. Trying to install illuminated door sill plates on my 2015 50th anniv mustang.

So if you have a 2015 50 years le or a premium 50 years edtion i assume it will work on an eb but i have the gt that came without illuminated sills and you d like to have them it s an easy install. Installation is only moderately difficulty due to some wiring but if you follow the individual steps you should only need about an hour to complete this project.
