Door lock is broken so wont open from inside and out. I tried doing that little trick where u try pulln out the side panel n push the pin but it didnt work for me. I have a 1998 honda civic. Access cannot be gained unless door panel is removed but i read more.

I freakn got mad n kickd the door lol banging on it lol. The driver side door on my 1998 honda civic won t open. Many times the problem is a broken door handle but that was not the case in this vid. In this video i fix a honda accord door that won t open from the inside. I can t open the door so i can t really take the door panel off. Is there any other way by just completely destroying the door lol since im going to buy a new door to n repaint it.

From the best that i can tell all the answered by a verified mechanic for honda. The door panel must be removed to reconnect the latching mechanism. Not sure whether the door panel can be removed with the door closed but it won t be as easy as with the door open.
